About Joji

Healthcare keeps records. Joji keeps the story of your health.

Joji started with a simple, frustrating realization: healthcare doesn't stop when you leave the doctor's office, but the tools meant to help you did. We're building the part that was missing.

Why we exist

Our mission

Making sure care never stops when the appointment ends.

Joji exists to keep care moving between appointments. Too often, the moment a patient walks out of the clinic, important information, questions, and next steps can get lost in the gap before the next visit. We believe that care should feel continuous — not like a series of disconnected moments.

Everything we build helps bridge that gap. Joji keeps track of what happened, what matters, and what needs to happen next, giving both patients and care teams the context they need to stay connected and make better decisions.

Because better care isn't only about what happens during an appointment. It's about everything that happens before, after, and in between.

The gap in care

Too much information gets lost in the space between visits.

The system is built to deliver information during a visit, but not to make sure that information actually makes it into the days and weeks that follow.

  1. 01

Too much to remember, too little time

A single appointment can leave patients with a diagnosis, medication changes, instructions, and follow-up plans — often delivered in just a few minutes, when they may already be stressed, overwhelmed, or recovering.

  2. 02

    The real questions come later

Once patients are home, uncertainty often sets in: Is this normal? Should I take this medication? When should I follow up? The answers may be somewhere in a handout or portal, but they're rarely available when and where they're needed.

  3. 03

    Care becomes fragmented

For people managing multiple conditions, coordinating several providers, or helping a family member recover, information can quickly become scattered across practices, documents, phone calls, and messages — leaving no one responsible for connecting what happened to what comes next.

What guides us

What we believe about the product

Joji is built around a few simple principles: make care specific, make it easier to share, and be useful without adding more noise to people's lives.

  • Care is a team sport.

Health tasks are distributed across spouses, adult children and friends. Caregiver access isn't a feature we added — it's part of how the product is shaped.

  • Quiet is a feature

Joji should be present during the hard weeks and almost invisible during the good ones. We would rather tell you that nothing needs your attention today than manufacture a reason to open the app.

  • Specific beats general.

"Ask me anything about health" is easy to promise and hard to make indispensable. Day-by-day support grounded in your actual procedure and your actual instructions is something people reach for when they're tired, anxious, or helping someone at home.

  • We organize; clinicians decide.

Joji explains what your care team told you and helps you follow it. It doesn't diagnose, doesn't triage, and doesn't second-guess the people treating you. That boundary is deliberate and we intend to hold it.

  • Your data is not the business model.

We make money from subscriptions and from clinics. We don't sell health information, and we've built the company so that we never need to.

  • Human first.

Healthcare can feel complicated enough. Joji should make things clearer, calmer, and easier to act on — without adding another layer of complexity.

Behind Joji

Built from experience. Shaped by care.

Joji started with a simple observation: the hardest part of healthcare often begins when the appointment ends. We're building a better way forward, together with the people who experience and deliver care.

Our story

Joji started with a familiar experience: leaving an appointment with a folder of paperwork, a set of instructions that made sense in the room and much less sense at home, and no clear idea who to ask.

That experience happens to millions of people every week. Most healthcare tools are designed around the clinic — not the person going home. We started building Joji for the moment where the need is sharpest: recovery after a procedure.

From there, we designed the same structure to support other moments when healthcare gets loud — preparing for surgery, managing an ongoing condition, or looking after someone you love.

Where we are today

Built in the real world. Growing with what we learn.

Joji is already in use, and we're working closely with care teams to understand what truly helps patients follow through after discharge — and to build it better from there.

  • Live and in use

Joji is already in the hands of patients, helping them navigate the days and weeks after leaving a care setting.

  • Learning with care teams

We're running pilots with a small number of specialty practices and ambulatory surgery centers that introduce Joji to patients at discharge.

  • Staying intentionally small

We're keeping the group focused while we learn what works, listen closely to patients and clinicians, and improve the product based on real-world experience.

  • Evidence over enthusiasm

We care less about saying that Joji helps and more about being able to prove it. We're measuring whether it actually improves patient follow-through and building the evidence to support what we learn.

Ask A Question
How does Joji work?

Joji organizes your healthcare information into one secure place. You can record appointments, save medical records, get treatment and care reminders, track medications, manage upcoming visits, and ask Joji questions about your health information.

Can I record my doctor's appointment?

Yes. Joji allows you to record appointments (where permitted by local laws and with your healthcare provider's consent). AI can then generate transcripts, summaries, and follow-up actions to help you remember what was discussed.

What can I ask Joji?

Ask about your medications, past visits, lab results, or upcoming care. Joji answers based on your own health history — clearly and in plain language.

Can I share my information with family members or caregivers?

Yes. You can grant caregiver access that is scoped by you and revoked by you at any time. Nobody is added without your permission.

Can I store my medical records in Joji?

Yes. Connect your hospitals, clinics, and labs, or add documents yourself, and Joji assembles them into a single, secure history you can access anytime.

The appointment ends. Your care continues.

Download Joji and keep everything — the instructions, the records, the reminders, the people helping you — in one place.
